Like every 16-year-old, Wynn has absolutely no clue what he wants to do with his life. Between the struggle of growing up gay in a suburban neighborhood with a distant and paranoid mother, feeling in the shadow of a perfect best friend, and having a therapist with a couple of screws loose, sometimes it's easy to feel lost in the shuffle; that is, until a terrible blind-date-turned-club experience results in him back at his therapist's office debating what it means to "put himself out there." After being given the stellar advice to "touch grass," a coincidental meet cute leads Wynn to Phillip: a wannabe composer with a handsome, chiseled jawline. Together, they find an unconventional, unexpected first love in each other—until life tears the two Romeos apart.

 

Five years later, Veronica—Wynn's best friend—and Wynn must navigate adulting in the big city. Life seems somewhat normal until Phillip comes barreling back into Wynn's life and makes him question whether or not he ever moved on in the first place. 

 

MOMENTS is a story about growing up, about falling in love, about being okay with not knowing what you want to do with your life—all with the added bonus of audience interaction, gay slang, and a 21st-century spin. This is a story of how all these little moments in our story combine to make life.
